The Twins looked impressive in this home win, but it was only the 16th of the season. Brad Havens* pitched well and won his third game of the season. Ron Davis pitched the last two innings to earn his fourth save of the year. Dave Engle hit his third home run of the season (his first that season was the first home run ever hit in the Metrodome). In addition to Engle’s home run, Gary Ward hit one as well. Down the boxscore a bit, Gary Gaetti went 0-for-3 to bring his season numbers to .197/.260/.410/.670.

*Where is he now? (Or where was he on 2012?)

**A random allusion to Dave Engle from a few years ago.

The game lasted exactly two hours. 51-year-old Don Zimmer was the opposing manager.

And now, on with the countdown…
