1961 Game 126: Baltimore Orioles (73-55) @ Minnesota Twins (55-70)

Friday August 25, 1961

Orioles 5, Twins 2

The Twins pitching staff came into the game with a streak of two consecutive shutouts. The scoreless innings streak ended quickly, however, when Jack Kralick promptly gave up a pair of singles to start the game, then allowed a run to score on a sacrifice fly. He got out of the first inning with no further damage done, but the Orioles scored all the runs they needed and more in a four-run top of the sixth inning that was put together with five singles and a double.

Minnesota put together a small rally in the bottom half of the inning, but it was not enough.
