1961 Game 124: Minnesota Twins (53-70) @ Chicago White Sox (64-60)

Wednesday August 23, 1961

Twins 4, White Sox 0

Camilo Pascual made the Chicago White Sox look like a minor league team in posting his fifth shutout of the season.

The only offense the Sox could muster was a pair of singles and three walks. Pascual struck out six in the game, and allowed just two base runners past first base, both of which were stranded at second.

Minnesota’s offense all came in the second and third innings. Zoilo Versalles started things off with a two-RBI single that would have been enough for the win on its own.
