Despite home runs from Bob Allison (26) and Harmon Killebrew (36), the Twins fell big to the last place team in the American League.

Pedro Ramos allowed seven runs in six inning pitched, including a pair of home runs to bring his league-leading home run allowed total to 32.

Jerry Lumpe knocked in four runs for the A’s; and Deron Johnson and Gene Stephens knocked in three each.
