1961 Game 90: Minnesota Twins (37-52) @ Los Angeles Angels (37-53)

Tuesday July 18, 1961

Angels 4, Twins 1

Lee Thomas’ first inning home run (11), the league-leading 26th off of Pedro Ramos, would have been enough to win a game in which the Twins were able to manage just a single run. George Thomas added a solo shot (4) in the fourth, and the Angels got one more on Billy Monran’s single in the 4-1 win over the Twins.
