1961 Game 53: Minnesota Twins (20-32) @ Baltimore Orioles (27-26)

Saturday June 10, 1961

Orioles 4, Twins 3

Any hopes of a winning streak were essentially dashed in the fourth inning by Ron Hansen, who hit a two-run home run off of Twins’ starter Camilo Pascual to put the Orioles ahead 4-1. The offense was able to score a few more runs off of Hal Brown and later Hoyt Wilhelm, but it wasn’t enough.

The Twins managed just five hits off the pair of Baltimore pitchers.
