I’m having trouble navigating the site. I am interested in seeing the “Franchise” posts for 1907 – 1915. The 1913 and 1914 posts I was directed to by Google. Can you help me? Many thanks.

  2. Scot Says:

If you click on “Franchise Year by Year” under categories on the right-hand side you will see all of the archives. I haven’t written up 1914 or 1915 yet (that’s next on the agenda), but you will find 1901-1913 there.

    Hey Scot,

Our staff really enjoys your blog and it’s become a daily stop for us. We appreciate all the time and work you spend on it to bring us good baseball info and history each day. You’ve got a great site going here. Any chance that you could link us on your baseball blogs? It would really be appreciated. We have done the same.

    Anything?

  5. Scot Says:

Thanks for visiting, and I appreciate your additions in other parts of the blog. I don’t really want to use this space to have the conversation about my linking habits. You are welcome to email me at the above address if you want to discuss it further.

Thanks for not linking us Scot.

I guess you can’t trust a guy who spells his name with 1 “t”

If you will email me I will be happy to send you the PDF of the Washington Post story on that game. It is quite explicit in descibing what happened.

Always good to read about baseball and its players, I’ve played since a kid..

Can I ask though – how did you get this picked up and into google news?

Very impressive, is it something that is just up to Google or you actively created?

Obviously this is a popular blog with great data so well done on your seo success..

I would like to know if I can get a poster of Puckett, Hrbek and Gaetti that is referenced to your web site? It was done by the Star Tribune quite some time back. Please let me know how I can get a hold of one.

    Thanks,

    John

I have no doubt that your Twins content would get a ton of reads with us. Please email me mtcheyan@bleacherreport.com so I can tell you more about our site and get you set up.

    Thanks,

I saw a sampling you had in an old post of win shares for a handful of 2002 Twins (Hunter, Doug, Radke). Do you have the full team listing of win shares from 2002? I can’t seem to find that information anywhere. I have Bill James book through 2001, baseballgraphs has 2003, and Hardball times has 2004-2008.

  14. Scot Says:

If memory serves, FanGraphs used to have win shares. Whether I remember right or not, they use WAR now.
