I haven’t been able to catch a Twins game this week, mainly because I don’t live on the West Coast schedule. Though the Twins are back in the good old Central Time Zone this weekend, I still won’t see a lot of them. Among the many activities this weekend I will be roaming the Borders in Rosedale on Saturday afternoon while Stew Thornley signs copies of Minnesotans in Baseball. The event is from 2-4 PM.
The two-and-a-half year old probably won’t be there (it is right in the middle of nap time after all), but here he is last weekend watching boats in LaCrosse. We had a scare a couple of weeks ago when he started marching around the house proclaiming “I like the Yankees!,” but apparently that little phase of rebellion has passed. It is still “root, root, root for the Twins team.”

heh. I liked the Yankees in late 80′s, early 90′s. I was a Mattingly fan, I guess.
it is ‘root root root for the cubbies.’ FYI.
also, i had a seat in the park today for the milton bradley experience.
fantastic
I did once try to start with the old Harry Carey “a one, a two” and was immediately stopped and told “no, no – it’s one, two, three strikes you’re out”
Enjoy the rest of the series- if you are out in the left field bleachers you might catch a Mauer home run.
